Marianne began her yoga journey over seven years ago and she was fortunate enough to have been taught by great friends and instructors during the initial stage. The long distance running also began in parallel and soon she developed a passion for running marathons which takes a toll on your body. Thus, yoga was her choice to counter balance the effect of running long distances. She gained a new level of appreciation for yoga while recovering from a torn ACL while playing soccer because it helped accelerate her recovery. She loves traveling and has attended yoga classes in many locations all over the world. She has completed 10 full marathons, 3 sprint triathlons, and many half marathons to not only keep an active lifestyle but also to set goals to maintain her motivation. She is very passionate about teaching yoga and passing on what she has learned from being an athlete and yoga instructor. See you on the mat :)
