The adventure

Experience a total mind & body enhancing online yoga and meditation session! To begin, we will virtually gather together to check in with ourselves about how we're feeling with a short journaling session. Once we've taken a moment to reflect, we will flow into our yoga practice! Each practice is crafted specifically for the needs of the participants, but we will always incorporate breathing techniques (pranayama) to help us detox and increase our immunity support and a physically invigorating yoga practice. As we wind down in our practice we will end with a few restorative poses to bring awareness to the internal narrative happening as the subtle changes in our bodies occur. We will complete our time together with guided meditation to homogenize our brain and heart to our intentions for the day. Come join in our beautiful community to share, heal, and elevate our mind/body relationship!

2. Reflective Journaling

Once we've all virtually gathered, we will greet each-other and begin with some reflective journaling to set intentions for class.

3. Yoga & Pranayama

To begin our practice, we will affirm our intentions while we do a short series of breathing exercises. Then we flow in the form of power vinyasa yoga or restorative yogic technique called Thinking Body Feeling Mind. All yoga styles are designed to align the body and mind, build awareness, and perpetuate functionality.

4. Dance & Movement

After our bodies have been warmed up with yoga we will dive into a series of therapeutic movement techniques to create more freedom in our minds/bodies. We work with authentic movement to investigate how our bodies want to express themselves. We also do exercises like tai chi to collect and release energy.

5. Mindfulness & Meditation

Coming down from the dance and movement we will settle in for a guided meditation. There are a range of different meditation we will do: reiki/chakra toning, guided visualization, manifestation, body scan ect.

Josh

For the past five years I have dedicated my life to studying and training in art therapies, alternative healing modalities, and eastern disciplines. I am a trained dancer/choreographer, certified yoga teacher, and mindfulness instructor. My passion for movement, healing, and bringing people together is what fuels my fire! I aim to create a conscious community where we may all develop a deeper relationship to our mind/body connection!

Amazing class! Josh is a fantastic instructor that really makes you feel immersed in the experience. His unique combination of mindfulness, yoga, and dance is something that I've never experienced before but really enjoyed. Will definitely be booking more classes with Josh! 🙌 🧘‍♂️
