The adventure

Experience an immersive yoga and guided meditation class in one of the most beautiful locations on Earth, Discovery Park. We'll meet on the sandy beach and go through a series of movements and mantras with the sound of the waves in the background. I like to vary the exact structure of our sessions but it always starts with deep mindfulness, moves into vinyasa flow, and then ends with a communal meditation session. My goal is to have every session end with you feeling mindful and rejuvenated.

The plan

1. Stretch and warm up

We'll meet at discovery park where we'll get introduced and do some light stretching. I vary the location slightly depending on the weather and crowds, but I generally like to have the class in the grassy field near Fort Lawton Beach.

2. Feel the burn!

After we're all warmed up, we'll begin the burn! I like to plan out the exercises into circuits that we'll go through together 4 or 5 times. I'm always finding new exercises for the circuits to keep it interesting and unique from class to class. Sometime I incorporate simple equipment like fitness straps or jumping boxes.

3. Cool down & meditation

After about 30 minutes of exercise we'll start to cool down and move into some guided meditation. The meditation is casual and focused on personal mindfulness. After class I always stick around to get feedback on the circuit and answer any questions that you have about exercise, nutrition, or mindfulness.

I've been a certified yoga teacher instructor for over 8 years in the pacific north west area. I try to incorporate yoga, meditation, and holistic wellness in every practice. My passion is helping people feel better mentally and physically.

Location

Our class will take place near Fort Lawton Beach inside of Discovery Park. North Beach Trail is the quickest way to get there.
